I think you'd struggle to keep up with the players heardy >:D

They have to train, keep fit, get hammered over their mistakes in the game.. I'd want 40k as well :) I'm a B&W Ref, haven't done it for a long time though...

It certainly not easy becomming an international ref. They go through heaps of physical tests and not to mention the death threats they get after a badly refd game.

I'd want that for the emotional trauma of having half the world hate me for the rest of my natural (or otherwise) life.

it's hard enough being a touch football ref at my local comp let alone a football referee where things like dramatisations of penalites occur especially when there is SO LITTLE SCORING IN SOCCER OMG 0-0 EPIC BATTLE AWESOME GAME
