Microsoft sends word of a world record attempt that they're going for in Sydney soon as part of a celebration about the success of the Xbox 360 launch in Australia:
Xbox 360 are staging a World Record water balloon challenge on April 22 2006 at Coogee Beach, Sydney, Australia to celebrate the biggest console launch in Australian history, and you are invited! As a valued Xbox fan you are receiving special advance notice of this event. We will be announcing this event to the public next Monday and expect this event to sell out very quickly, so make sure you secure your spot now!
There's a $20 entry fee, but you get to take home some phat lewtz, including an Xbox 360 game - check out the official registration page for more info.

Can you see it?

Thousands of nerds bashing the s*** out of each other when a fight breaks lose.
Sounds like they're trying to set a record for the biggest geeky-est riot.
