Does anyone here have one of these lightscribe burners? (burners that can label the discs as well).
I'm considering getting one for my laptop, but I'd like to know what the general opinion of these things are. Are they a gimmick or useful? Thanks in advance. |

last i heard, they hadn't come up with a way to stop the image/text fading.
stick with a normal burner and get a printer that can print onto cd, then get printable dvd/cd's |

Printer and printable dvd's for the win. I cant express how cool and neater it is being able to print directly to the disc.

There are external ones, but you can also get thin ones for laptops.

Hmmm, so far I think I might stick with a regular burner. It sounds like there will be colour lightscribe in the near future.
