So after my latest mobile phone dying (turns off by itself, barely manages to charge) and have quite a heated argument with the tards at the Telstra Shop who honestly believe I should payout my current phone at a cost of $120 above the new price of the same phone, I am after your opinions on the best deal going.

Ideally I want a Motorola V3 on a lowish type plan with the idea being I barely use it and just pay the piddly amount a month just to have a flash new phone. Also interested in the Nokia 6822.

I know with optus you can buy a nokia n70 for 900 outright...or if you sign up on a month to month basis it goes to 800 if you buy it out. So it can be cheaper that way....so thats something to think about for whatever phone you want.

I just bought a Motorola K7 in China I think it is better than V3, has all the same functions but is not a flip phone is slightly longer but also slightly slimmer looks nice.

Well I settled on a Strathfield deal. $35/mth for $35 worth of free calls + $9/mth for a K700i. Nice little phone, decent calls & rates and the best bit about the deal was that it came with a PSP :D

To sweeten my mobile communication needs further, work pays for my bill so I've just scored a new phone & PSP for zip.
