The Norman... thats at woolloongabba right? That place is awesome, they do the best steaks, and the chicken snitzel with pasta, good s***!

Meat over here is generally craptastic, f***ing mad cow disease...

Meat where i live is generally good quality.. to bad you have to sell a kidney just for a 100g steak.

I think you should turn up to this one too, you owe it to the steak. The steak will be sad if you don't turn up :(

The RE fanboys and now girls were boring the last meet they tried to hi-jack. I fail to see what would change it this time.

I tried to organise a Regatta steak night but no one showed interest! All people did was post to say they would not be going. And it hurt my feelings so I deleted the thread. :/

No, I'm not going to organise something. Kat's organising something...it would be rude to organise something else alongside it. Someone else should organise something though before uni starts back up in March (like in Feb or something).

Kat: Why: A get together for those who want to meet up and to point and laugh at Merlyn

Hmmm...

Didn't think it would *really* matter where the outing was...thought it was moreso to do with the company (and the RE *OR* Regatta *seemed* to be more convenient for the majority)...but anyway.

Have a good night - unfortunately I am unable to make it. I shall now f/o out of this thread.

P.S. Merlyn - I hope you and your family are enjoying your stay in Australia :). Any stories yet?

Where is not much of an issue for me, the WHEN is. I leave early Sunday morning so Friday was the best time. Kat took it upon herself to orginise this meet'n'eat so i went along with it. I am very glad she has done this and despite expecting the f***tard replies, a little dissapointed by some.

RE: Agent99 - no real stories to tell... has been more of a relax and catch up with friends and family trip.

A99 - So you can read the 'Why' but not there 'Where'? *clap clap*

But anyway, I have booked it for 10-12 people so you lot who always stay in the shadows and rock up anyway have been catered for. And if there aren't anymore coming no big deal, we have a nice quiet gathering.

Erik, let me know if you want a lift.

Seems this RE place is not an option at this point, as it has been confirmed at The Norman. Just need to know how many it seems.
Can't make it much simpler than that i guess... though it may still not be simple enough for some.

Are you serious?

Well my first nickname on IRC used to be gimp. And it was inspired by the character on Pulp Fiction (a popular movie at the time). I later changed it to gimpy cause everyone used to call me gimpy, instead of gimp.

I'm really not sure why I decided to name myself after a leather clad sex slave. Maybe I'll find out one day and it'll be really ironic and funny at the time. :D

A lot of people call me Khel in real life, even my brother sometimes calls me Khel and so does one of my uni lecturers. Its just a nickname, I dont see the difference between someone calling me Khel and someone calling me Wazza.
They have a lot of seating area. I can't see it being a problem

It is a friday night though, and they're usually very busy on a Friday night, I doubt there'd be a spare table they could just add on the end.

In fact if your so quick to jump at paying someone else out cs_master, how about you post a picture of yourself so we can all have a chop at you as well.
