I want to see how games run on this system as opposed to on my ps2, are there any decent PS2 Emulators out there these days?

I trust this is legal seeing as I own the games I'm wanting to emulate (just one, Wipeout Fusion, owns so much).

Also, can you up the resolution in emulators? Can hardly see properly on the ps2, terrible quality.

Nope there not even close to running at full speed yet, the ps2 R5900 Mips hybrid cpu is very tricky customer to emulate.

thats one game, and the specs of the machine that been run on? also you need a moded ps2 to get the rom files to run the emulator and a quote from there forums.

Since this release (PCSX2 0.8) compatibility has increased greatly. Many games will now go 'in-game' or atleast to some form of menu. Whilst games may get 'in-game', they will not run at 'playable' speeds, due to the complex nature of PS2 emulation, and the lack of modern hardware that is powerfull enough to emulate such a console.
