It looks sleek as hell, and Microsoft Japan has actually started to hire some big-name project leaders (ex-capcom and the like).
My biggest (lol hueg) gripe with the X-box is the almost laughingly bad software library. Hopefully this will change. |

wonder what ps3 is gonna look like They've already done the giant heatsink look with the ps2, I dont know how they can top that one for ugliness but I'm sure they'll be trying. My biggest (lol hueg) gripe with the X-box is the almost laughingly bad software library. Just because you dont like it, doesn't make it laughably bad. Theres probably more games on xbox at the moment that I enjoy playing/want to play than any of the other consoles. Only things on PS2 at the moment I want to play are the new GTA (coming to Xbox and PC soon), MGS3 (which will probably make its way to Xbox eventually in some kind of improved state, ala MGS2 substance), and God of War. Only thing on Gamecube I want to play is Resident Evil 4. It all comes down to personal opinion in the end. In my opinion, while PS2 may have many more games than any of the other consoles, it doesn't necessarily have more games worth playing. last edited by Khel at 21:58:48 29/Apr/05 |

Ninja Gaiden is reason enough to own an X-Box.

By the same account, the only thing Xbox exclusives I'd even touch with a 20 foot pole are Ninja Gaiden and Jade Empire (that one being quite recent).
Edit: Beaten to the mad ninja gaiden props by Dais :( last edited by Hashy at 22:04:30 29/Apr/05 |

But even with games that are on all three consoles, I'd go for the XBox versions. Generally they look the best, and I like the XBox controller the best.

Yeah, I think its cos its like the Dreamcast controllers, and I loved them too. Big chunky controllers you can really wrap your hands around. I find the Ps2 controllers are a little bit too small to be comfortable. After an hour or two using a Ps2 controller I start getting cramps in my hands.

I only recently discovered this after purchasing Devil May Cry 3. |

I don't like the Playstation controller much at all. I have fairly big hands, and the PS2 control is just too small. It's barely even moulded to the hand. My thumbs ach like f*** after I've been using it for a while.
I love the Gamecube controller though. HATE the original Xbox control, but the New one is awesome, I like it as much as I do the Gamecube one. |

Yep those gamecube controllers are by far the best.
I've use all three (except the new Xbox controller) and the GCN controller fits like a glove. All it needed, was another Z like button above the other shoulder button. MY GERMS!!! last edited by Lynx at 01:48:11 30/Apr/05 |

I hear Nintendo dont want A or B buttons on their new controller. They reckon it'll be revolutionary. Either that or crazily stupid.

Khel: God of War is awesome, just as good as Devil May Cry 3 (and they are both so very very similar).
MGS3 - play it through on hard difficulty or it's not worth it, but you'll find yourself getting frustrated at the camera angles. |

I hear Nintendo dont want A or B buttons on their new controller. They reckon it'll be revolutionary. Either that or crazily stupid. That's just a rumour that's been floating around, I doubt it's true. But we really don't even know what kind of controllers will be used yet. They've just licenced some sort of gyro technology, if that accounts for anything. |

Khel: God of War is awesome, just as good as Devil May Cry 3 (and they are both so very very similar).Yeah, God of War sounds awesome from everything I've read, almost makes me wish I still had a ps2 :( Devil May Cry 3 might be good, but after the second one, I'm not sure I'd be willing to give it a go. I really liked the first Devil May Cry, but the second one was a steaming pile of ass. |

I really liked the first Devil May Cry, but the second one was a steaming pile of ass.I can varify that it is indeed good. Awesome (though overrated) difficulty, great storyline, good (if not cheesy, but cheesy in a good way) characterization, stunning cinematics... Oh, and I disliked God of War. Even on hard it felt like more of a chore to die than something you'd try to avoid and the combat was kind've shallow, though presentation was out-of-this-world-good. |
