Actually, science has shown that most gay males recieved lower-than-normal amounts of testoterone while in the womb. While in the womb, everybody is female up until a few weeks (not sure how many), and if the feutus is to become male, they'll recieve testosterone.

First the body is "converted", then the brain is. If not enough is recieved, then the brain remains (to a degree) female. This is common amoung tested gay males.
