There is a competition on the Surpass Website, to win a computer,
I've got an idea, but don't want to go to too much trouble, because I would only win a second PC, and while I have a reasonable s***box, I wanna know if you think some poor uni student would go to some crazy level of work to try and win the Computer.
have a look and lemme know if my idea (Sign on front of my house) is worth it, or will it not be worth my effort.
surpass.com.au and have a look.
comments pls.

It's right there on the main page spook.

This competition is so simple! The winner will be the person/people who have created the best sign, promoting Surpass Computers. To give yourself the best chance of winning this awesome prize, you will need to place your sign in a popular location to get the greatest amount of exposure, telling people of our store! It's that simple!
(need to register)

Yeah, true, their prices are a bit higher than a couple of places, but I have bought there on four different occasions now, and because they are much closer to me than say GameDude, I just get them to match GameDude's price. I save a trip out to springwood (I live at Milton) and I get the same price without the lineup.

Others should keep it in mind; keep the bastards honest! :) I do it everywhere, if there's a better price somewhere else, most businesses are smart enough these days that they will match or beat a price to get a sale.

ESPECIALLY in the IT industry, there are so many yum char's out there, that a lot of companies much be feeling the pinch, so anyone who reads this, always bargain with the shop you go to, because you CAN get a better price, if you know of a better price elsewhere. . .
This carries across to a lot of other sectors, ie:car sales, but lets not go there. . .

For Cpu's, Surpass is AT Least $60 bux cheaper...

Seems that gamedude are cheaper in other parts too...

Basically you have to select a component you want eg. Socket 775 Intel 3.8GHZ cpu. and check each store who has the cheapest price and buy off them.

Gamedude suck but with returns and s***... c***z
