fireworks were pretty good, F1-11's looked pretty good too, f*** they are loud :O, trains were so FULL, absolutely packed, all the food places were too, a suprisingly large turnout, so many people were there.

good show, ruined by the smelly, rude, push-and-shove ghetto scum that rocked up, plus the people with prams.

It wasn't too bad, the jets were pretty kewl, the crowd was huge so it was hard to get a decent spot.

There were also heaps of hardnut 14yr olds there drinking, smoking and pushing their way around :/

My main objection was triple m pushing its bs political point, really i came to see fireworks, not hear george bush whine about an axis of evil.

i was working up on Kangaroo point for riverfestival doing some crowd observations and stuff and i had the best night

We were told there was going to be 2 dump and burns and i assumed they meant one at the start and one at the end. i didnt think they meant 2 at once.

i was right under the flightpath for the roulettes, right under the F111s and had a kick ass view for the fireworks.

Kangaroo point was nuts though. during the fireworks u couldnt move it was packed as! luckily we got moving as soon as the dump and burn was over cause we had to walk the long way back to southbank (f***ing steps nazis)

That's several times i heard about people with prams hogging the road. Sounds like half the people there had prams.

Great event but what is with the ...

a) Riverfire and Bali/9-11? What on earth is the connection here?!

b) The musical score; an interesting selection of depressing balads and Heavy metal vomit music to slit your wrists by. Jeez I thaught this was to be a celebration. It's not the music style just the bloody inappropriate actual songs selected.

You really can't screw up with five tons of fireworks and some F-111's but some idiots gave it a good nudge.

darn f111's almost set off my car alarm twice :) (it beeps a warning before going off)
Looked like the airforce crew got a bit out of it as well, there was a guy wearing coveralls and an f111 patch living it up with a bunch of nice girls outside fridays :)
