Saw over on MPU news once of natslovR's awesome value-packed pieces - an Aussie site called DVD Plaza, which lists all the good bargains going around at the moment with regards to DVD sales. Check out their current listing of good deals.

DVD's rule like s*** - we have a proper set top player - definitely worth the money over a computer system i would say.

And a Dolby Digital 5.1 Amp and Speaker setup ownz more on top of the standalone player.. :)

who said just because its DivX u have to watch it on your monitor, most high end cards come with TVout these days.

and trog u can really talk, do you have a DvD player that's NOT in your pc? or do you have to use tvout anyway?
