i have spoken to a friend in sydney who says they are pretty s***house live, and he's into audioslave in a big way, the support is also crap according to him.

my advice: if you don't have the cd go and buy it, it cost about a 1/4 of the price of going to the show, and you can listen to it whenever

meh..you're friend sux, and asif you would listen to what a friend says about a concert, you must listen for yourself.

I can't wait to see this band, and hopefully meet them.

Audioslave < RATM < Soundgarden. I don't think we'd have even heard of them if wasn't for the profile that the members bring to the band. I've also heard the suck live.

I saw audioslave on satuday night. I quite liked them live but compared to some of the other bands ive seen in my time they were pretty average.

Chris cornell seemed a bit up himself as he wanted a standing ovation from the crowd when he annouced who he was but i can live with that because his voice on stage was f***ing awsome, i never got to see soundgarden live so one of my main reasons for going to this show was basically to hear chris scream his lungs out and that he did.

They only went for a bit over an hour and played roughly 10 album songs and about 5 non album songs including a new song that they said could be on the next album.

'Like A Stone' live sounded amazing with Tom Morello's little solo part in the middle, i didn't like that song too much until i heard it live.. and of course they finished up with Cochise which i thought was really obvious when they didn't open their set with it.

overall, worth checking out but i hope they get better.

the support band is warped, from sydney or melbourne. bit rockier than audioslave, but i'm sure no one is going to see them over the main act...

and i still don't think it will be that great a concert.

no zack. no good. gimme rocha. sure toms 'ok', but RATM was nothing without zack. such is the case with audioslave. just typical s***.

Is this Nicki Webster's new group? Or is this a different teeny-bopper band?
