hi, i want to use the lame codec for the audio in my xvid's that i encode. i can download the files from the site, but i have nfi what to do with them all. i tried using the nimo codec bundle, but the lame codec in that is f***ed. is there an installer program for LAME?

erik just use an mp3 codec they work fine

nah, fraunhoffer s***s me. when u get too much bass in a scene, the sound volume drops to compensate.

what is the extension of your codec?
most of the ones ive installed u just right click on the file and there is an install option |

nah, fraunhoffer s***s me. when u get too much bass in a scene, the sound volume drops to compensate. Umm never happend to me. If it does happen, why dont you just add a filter in Vdub to increase volume to like 200% ?? Which is what i do anyway, sounds excellent. |

I have just gone through this learning process for encoding music. You want to get an encoder (not lame, an actual application) which suports the use of the lame codec. Its not a codec you install like you would install divx. Then you get a version of Lame, either dll or exe format, i think they said exe was better. then go here, and find out the best settings, i used VBR and the -alt extreme settings when i was encoding. Its very very good quality, without waste of data. they helped a lothere I found this out from talking to some guys in #project_mayhem on irc.openprojects.net they helped a lot icq me if you want more info #17646300 |

mongie, i'm talking about a lame codec that works in flaskmpeg. and for the most part, lame isn't a codec that u can install, but there are some compiled installs, or bundles, such as nimo, but nimo's copy of lame is borked.
