I don't know if I'm the only one, but for the last few days I've been having problems logging in to my ausgamersmail account.
I put in my user/pass but then I get a

message.
Furthermore, yesterday I couldn't even get onto the www.ausgamers.com main site!
But it's fine today.

there were some DNS changes recently that might have caused some problems for you - if you're still having problems tomorrow, please let us know

I have been having the Ausgamersmail problem mentioned above for at least a week now - haven't been able to access my Ausgamersmail emails at all during this time.
Any idea as to the probable cause? I'm not so sure about it being a DNS problem, as it only occurs when you actively try to login.

I also haven't been able to check my emails.

I'm still having the same problem today, unfortunately.
I'll send an email to webmail@ausgamers.com (is that the right address?)

What ISP do you use? If it IS a DNS issue, this may provide an indicator.
Myself, I am on Telstra Cable.

Any ideas? This is basically a bumpage to keep it in the public consciousness, such as it is :)

Well, it doesn't seem that anyone is able to fix this little problem.
Last time something similar happened, I think I changed my user/pass details and then changed them back to fix it. But this is different to last time, because then I was getting an "Invalid Password" error...
Oh well, I'll give it a go I guess!

I've already tried that. It achieved precisely nothing, give or take a lot more nothing.

Yeah... it certainly *did* achieve nothing... about as much as emailing webmail@ausgamers.com!

/me is sad...
I hope *someone* can fix this eventually!

Indeed. Although I admit to being left wodnering as to how widespread this problem is. I'm not sure how mnay people use AusGamersMail, but if it isn;t working for anyone, I'd have expected more forum threads about it than jsut this one.

Still no news? I've at least managed to verify that its independent of ISPs. The same thing happens on BPA Cable and Optus. All indicators point to it being a server error.

Elevation into public consciousness time again.
I'd have thought fixing the email would be a reasonably high priority task, as its a core component of the service provided by Ausgamer....(?)

The_Barbarian.. seriously dude your little campaign agains the Ausgamers admins is really running thin now.. Give it a rest for once hey? You only seem to see the negative elements of anything ausgamers does.. yet you seem to ignore the majority of happy customers (well its free...so they're not really customers..)

We're shutting AusGamers Mail down for a while until we have time to fix it. We simply don't at the moment. Apologies to all for any inconvenience.

If I was paying, I'd be cracking the s***s too, but AusGamers is free. It may be backed by telstra as far as I can tell, but judging by the lack of updates around exam time, I'd say alopt of the admins are still trying to deal with school stuff. Good luck to 'em I say. I'll suffer the hiccups for some kid's future.
Maybe Barbie should concentrate more on his exams...
