Anyone know where i can get a mod chip installed for a xbox in bris? I only know of some guy who was on here before but he's not answering my questions i ask him so i'm looking for somewhere else other then blade who are across town and are alot more expensive then elsewhere. I can get the chip (matrix) from melb if necessary or just buy it off someone. I just figure by the time i buy the tools to get into the box i can get someone else who knows what they are doing to do it for me. Any help would be appreciated.

I wasnt aware that the mod chip was Xodus (matrix) - Not exactly hardcore Modding, and I can install those real easy. Would have to find another supplier though, cause I dont "SELL" em.. :D

i have an xbox i was thinking of modding my frined is trying to get me into xbox modding, hes got a chip and he says u can boot up into the os whateva it may be and copy ur games so u can play them of the hdd without the cd

you can just turn off the chip and use the normal bios.

khel - matrix is decent for what it does (very easy to remove if you want to upgrade the mod chip in future) the best chip is an x-ecuter 2 which is out anyday now.

c0rr is right, do not buy a mod chip at the moment. The x-ecutor 2 will be out any week now - according to the xecutor site it's just been sent to manufacturing in China and they are hinting at early December for pre-order shipping.

This is the chip you want. There's Pro and Lite versions, 1 wire and no wire options, and it's flashable. On paper it's far superior than any other mod chip and is the way forward. It's also cheaper than existing mods.

i went to blade for ps2 and ps mods, if u can find other places i reconmend it as blade is expensive as a MF.
