what's the surface like? as in, is it a slippery surface, is it hard, does it have some give in it, is it similar to a cloth pad?

hard surface, slides smoothly. it's dual sided, so u can change the side that sits in the base. on side is real smooth, and one side is rougher, but still slides well. accommodates different tastes :P

hmm cause me idea of a perfect mousepad would be something that has friction somewhere between that of a cloth mousepad and a 3M mousing surface.

Hey Eric i wouldn't mind a fUnc pad especiallly if they come in a case with mouse clip and everything. I would prefer orange and blue.

Willing to pay $40-$45 for it

can you come to the next Nudgee Lan?

i have tried: func pad, 20 diff cloth pads, ratz pad, plastic binder covers, paper, pieces of wood, chopping boards, smart pad (alsop) and steelpad.

i can tell u now that steelpad is the best mousing surface that i have ever used, and unlike func, it doesnt wear out.

yeh i knew someone wuld bring this up, im not preaching them just cuz they sponsored us... its cuz they really are the best mousinf surface imho, u think we wuld have applied for the sponsorship if they werent a good product.... IF funcs were better we wuld have approached them instead of steelpad :)

catch my drift?

sif I'd pay more than 40 bucks for a mousepad. The one i use is just a mini bread board which i bought from Big W for about 5 bucks and my optical mouse loves it.
