Anyone having trouble opening files.ausgamers.com? It only loads the drop-down navbar and then stops transferring data. Same sort of thing happens on Gamearena's site (it NEVER works), and in fact I've left IE windows open for a good 20 minutes and the page still refuses to load. And yes I have the lastest version of IE6.

:/ I want to get Shattered Galaxy but its taking aaages from the developer's website, so was hoping it has been mirrored on ausgamers files (its on gamearena files, but gamearena has a user limit of 30 and its even slower than downloading from a site hosted in Europe somewhere. Go figure.

There was a problem with the database server files.ausgamers talks to, but it's been fixed now.

Yay. Does trog read trog@qgl.org emails very often? I sent him one asking if he could mirror Shattered Galaxy on Ausgamers files.

isnt there a web based file request thingy on both files/qgl and wireplay ??

There is one on gamearena and shattered galaxy is already on it, but Ausgamers doesn't have on yet, you have to email someone for a request.

why don't you just donwload it from GA and save me mirroring it to ausgamers ? GA is just as local as ausgamers, practically

trog, I tried to download from GA, however it was much slower than what I normally get from Ausgamers files. I'm not sure why that is the case, but its definately slower than GA.
