Was running my Duron 850 @ 935 (110fsb) @ 1.75v perfectly stable for a about a week. It can go up to 1.85volts, so there's plenty of potential there. I'll push it harder when I get a new video card.

The funny thing is, Existence is running a palimno core, wich means he can do over 170 fsb easily.
i would still like to see how it compares with my cpu on sis soft.

I have an XP1700+ (1.4gig ??), I decided to overclock it just for this thread... It is at about 1.6gig. If I go any higher Win2k blue screens on boot-up.

for those of you who were asking.. exis-tard sold his 1600+ and bought another one.. he didn't unlock it himself.. he didn't oc it himself.. he just bought it..

ook.. that may not even be right..
let me rephrase : "his mummy and daddy just bought it"

fine now? :)

Rodolphe : Athlon XP aye, u wont get any blue screens from 160 onwards.
clock that bitch higher, more like 170. :)

And for who ever asked how people are getting such high fsb's. You need to know a fair bit about ram timing etc for a high stable result. You also need to change voltages etc.

KEEP UP THE OVERCLOCKING!
i would like to see some more video card results.

I can get the memory higher but I get funky colours happening in wolf, like the gun models go all psychedelic etc but it looks fine in ordinary stuff. I can also get the engine higher but I start to get artifacts on my screen for everything and they get worse and worse until my PC locks up. I have been running those settings for a few months now I think.

I will have to have a bash at wolf tomorow to see how my CPU likes to be overclocked under full stress, I have no real interest in going faster though, the rest of my PC is what needs to be better :o)

Do you mean clock the system bus higher ?? That is what I have been doing... The system bus is at 145, when I go to 150 is when it gets unstable... I dun know that much about overclocking etc so I wouldn't know what else to do.

Also the overclocking I have done has only added about 2 degress to my CPU temp.

Also by just upping the system bus I am basically just flogginh RAN etc harder right ?? Cos I only have PC133 RAM.

My best:

Duron 600 @ 893 (8.5*105) at 1.85v - factory unlocked - used that for about 3 months, 100% stable, using a modded Alpha PEP66.

Celeron 633 @ 1064 (9.5*112) default voltage, 100% stable, using standard HSF, sold that to kAiGE after a week.

Now I use a Thunderbird 1GHz @ 1066 (8x133), using Globalwin FOP38 solid as a rock and fast enough.
