Hmm this tells me that if you talk to the people in your team and congrat them your helping them play better, and if they do the same back, they will help you play better... what goes around comes around.

Maybe you guys should think abuot that before you start giving people s***, as they will give s*** back usually..


This would also apply more to clans. Make sure everyone in your clan is treated well and your clan will do well.. If you treat someone like s***, they will be a weak link until they are treated better...

I would agree with that, there's nothing better in DAoC than being in a group through the night with people that are nice (as long as they know what they're doing ;)), congratulating everyone on every level made as we go along, passing the drops along to those that need it, giving away freebies (such as being a caster, and giving chain away that you had found days earlier), and quite often finding yourself leveling at the same speed as they are, meeting them a week later and still being able to group again.

Whereas, soloing, is quite often more painful than the exp. you've gained is worth. It's boring, boring, and gets more boring, which makes you not want to play, making it sometimes wish you hadn't bothered spending money on the game :/

I really enjoyed playing in clan wars at the asian pool hall, because of how much team support there was there.
It started to suck heaps when little 8 year old would come in for the lans... and would swear their heads off and be really abusive. Really ruined the atmosphere of the whole place.

i agree with what pk said.. i think the whole $20 a month filters out most of the f***tards cause when u get in a good group and s*** in daoc.. everyone is real nice to each other, sharing items, thanking casters when they get buffed, congratulating each other on lvl ups etc

Yeah i find clan matches are too tense, nothing quite like having a good blast of a game where no-one is an uber leet freak and you can work out good tactics as you go rather than knowing them all already. We need a random game generator :) That way games can be about general skills which is how it should be.
