interesting redmond running linux kernel?
It used to be called Redmond Linux because it's like an interface a certain Redmond company produces. Sigh! It's funny how a lot of the time linux seems to be coping Windows or catching up when they really should be trying to advance past it to the next level with something other than WIMP.

ppls, redmond linux is s***E
i put it on today and for some reason it decided to "fix" my fat32 partition with my mp3's on it by striping out the FAT and fux0ring the partition (now i have 900 mp3's called FILE0xxx.CHK to rename - fun!)

it never even booted into the OS and locked up every time during boot trying to "check" for other partitions.

BIG thumbs down, RH 7.1 went back on untill eds gives me my 7.2 cd's back :P

It doesn't look that much like windows XP... just the background and icons. If it had a start bar then sure. That would be funny, but this...

I thought it was going to be called MS Unix... but I could be wrong. Apparently about half of WinXP is MS Unix (That's what I'll call it :P).

I still find it quite bemusing that Microsoft was at one stage (very early in their life) the biggest distributor of UNIX in the world. Oh how things change!
