Topic: Wanting to case mod

I have an enermax case which I was more then happy with till every other prick started buying em, so I have decided to buy a window for it and probably a neon at some stage.
Just wondering the best place to buy it from? As I dont want to drive too far (I live on the southside)

btw, those enermax cases are a pain in the arse to paint. It took me over 1 1/2 hours to sand my gf's case back and I only did the 2 panels. Maybe its just my weakness showing thru tho:)

dont buy a window! then you will still look like all the modded enermax cases!! :S they all have kits.

If you wanna look unique, make your own cool window design and not just a crappy rectangle.

EG. this is the one i drew/cut/painted for me bro

how many 4 leaf clover windows u seen around? :)
You may think it looks crud, but hey its original :P

oh and with sanding, you dont have to get it back to bare metal and then prime it, look at a normal beige case, its got like lil flecks in it
sand it back till its smooth white no flecks anymore and paint straight onto it, works fine that way. Gotta be careful with parts for the first month or so, until the paint cures and becomes rock hard.

I believe (actually I KNOW ) that the headphones in that photo belong to Chikin's brother, not the speakers.... so the CS FOGHAT is not him =)
Besides, he dont play cs =P

yeah the clover looks good.

but putting a window/neon in and changing the colour of the box already goes against my principles of becoming some kind of "1337 nerd"

arghgh too late! :(

Ill stick with some kind of prefrab L or rectangle shape and hope a 300watt ps is plenty for running some kind of fancy light in there:)

back to the topic - sand it till it's smooth is right - that's all you have to do

come see me for neons - i have a couple of rigs atm ready to walk out the door...

all i need is cash - $25 for single setups, $50 for double.

currently I have one twin blue one, one twin red (it's $35 as it was a demo/test model) and 3 single setups of red, green and blue.

Anyone interested let me know. ICQ: 2579592

to f***ing right.....
dont use window kits, they are so unoriginal and lame, and plus it defeats the purpose of case modding it...

till every other prick started buying em

everyman and there dog uses window kits.....

go through databases and databases of case mods and look for intresting designs and ideas and work from there, also the case mod will probly work out cheaper if you do it this way

Be Original, thoses words say it all. I mean the best case mods are the ones that ppl most want to look at. The VB box ahhh probably the best ive seen. Mabey you could get a Hahn premium light box or sumtin.

well since nobody has given me a confrmation yet that they want anything done for sure - as in a few enquiries but nothing set down - i haven;t bothered doing a lot - i make no money at all out of it - as I pass on the prices direct - all i am doing is getting it together - but I am not going to chase ppl...

Yeah, it's my case, but it's got another fan on it (with the yellow grill & the black rubbers) and perspex over the cut-out.
