Ubisoft took us out to a special event last week at the Sydney International Shooting Centre to showcase their upcoming title in the ever-popular Tom Clancy series of games, Ghost Recon Future Soldier (and they even let us fire off a few rounds while we were there). A tactical shooter with a focus on really capturing the special forces vibe and a healthy dose of cool sci-fi-esque technical tools to expedite the dealing of digital death, it is shaping up to look pretty sweet indeed. The game is currently scheduled for a May release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 - and a PC release was recently confirmed as well (although unfortunately we weren't able to get too many details about the PC version just yet). Check out our in-depth preview now for a closer look! |

I thought the PC version of this got canned. It did, but they resurrected it - not really sure how it all happened, but it's definitely back on the table for PC. The PC version will come out a little after the console version. I suspect, given their history, there will be no dedicated server stuff though so MP will almost certainly be p2p stylez. |
