I know a few of you guys here play free poker so i thought i'd get the word out of a recently new venue.

3 weeks ago they started a new APL venue at the Milton Coffee Club (Park Rd). Nice venue and good poker area. Rego starts at 6pm and game starts at 7pm.

Been averaging 25ish people for first 3 weeks but there should be more so getting the word out.

So come along, check it out. It's free to play and you get to meet lots of nice people, play some fun poker, and maybe even win some free food/booze (and maybe some money down the track).

The Coffee Club has some nice meal deals. Steak Sandwich (or Burger or BLT) with chips and a beer/drinks for $15 is not a bad deal. Good food too.

You also get to meet me! Yay for you! I'm actually doing ok there, 2 2nd places and a 3rd. Currently venue leader.

So come check it out. It's a great activity.

theres so much free pokre around these days, you can pick up games everywhere;

we sometimes go for dinner monday nites at the footy club in sunnybank, theres some non apl poker there as well, it packs out

Corona's are $5 so decent beer prices.

Did I mention I've won an APL tournie? True story. Beat 210 players.

I won with 7 diamonds and Ace diamonds. The other guy had s*** all. Once I was heads-up the prize was never in doubt.

Just cause more guys play it doesn't make females worse at it. I enjoy playing poker with a bunch of guys because they underestimate me - huge advantage. Also, generally they're all getting drunk so I leave with a large pile of money :D

i don't really like taking advice from someone about beer that has obviously horribly scared their taste buds with vb to the point of saying it's nice or better than another beer
