Before I head out on a wild goose chase. Has anyone tried this Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale beer and know of a bottle shop that sells it?
I have heard nothing but good things about it and I’m hoping I can find this stuff in Brisbane someplace. I don’t even know if it sells in Australia to be honest. |

My question was actually serious :( Possibly, but probably not. Most beers, even ones with really strong nutty or fruity flavours and aromas are usually still just made from hops, malted grain, water and yeast. Using different strains of yeast, and different species of hops and grain makes flavours vary enormously, combined with different fermentation and conditioning techniques. |
