I don't know whats funny, the fact you can buy Batman new for cheaper than pre-owned, or the regular pre-owned price is $105

That is actually comparatively cheap for Eb standards, considering you can get Tekken 6 for $52 from overseas from 365games (including delivery) which is only $15 less than a local copy.

Assassins Creed 2 is also for $67 (only $5 more than an overseas copy)

Tempting but i will not give in to the EB Devil.

P.S. Good pick up though maxe, now play against my customized Bruce Irvin online.

Your choice of which of my custom made Bruces you wanna fight: The Samurai or the Tribal Islander.

no idea why people hate eb.

apart from their prices, are they really that evil?

i think some people just hate successful companies.

The online stuff is rather meh-ish. Expect we'll see DJ Hero a tonne cheaper again before too long, otherwise I'd rather go hit up 365games and save a bit of dosh (plus not buy things from EB).

Apart from price? It's a retail store, pretty sure price is everything.

Money talks, and it's their prices that makes them evil.

$5 off a new title for a pre-owned copy? yeah how genuine..

Whether you know him or not you're going to get kicked in the fuk by him.

Nah I'm pretty sure he's been there since tekken 4. He's a Kick Boxer. Anyway all of the cast from previous Tekkens are back too (40 characters or something crazy).

Call of Duty, on sale at EB: $96. Normal price on CDWOW: 81.

The rest of the Sale games are a similar to CDWOW's normal price.

So no excuse to go nuts for me today :(

Yeah it's pretty good, but the one thing that's s***s about it is how they force you to play campaign mode (a scroll beat em up) if you want to earn serious dough. The dough is used to customize your character with some awesome s*** like a sledge hammer, machine gun, a Samurai sword (which can even sometimes be used in the game as a taunt). Then you take that character and use him in other online and offline modes.

I don't think price makes EB evil, they're just in business like everybody else.

If people know games are cheaper on Steam, ebay etc and are still prepared to pay retail prices for instant gratification then more power to them. If they don't know games are cheaper on Steam, ebay then retail prices are an ignorance tax.

It's a little sneaky to mix up the shelves with brand new games alongside pre-owned games but prices are still clearly marked. Isn't it common knowledge that EB long ago turned into a glorified pawn shop?

EB is known for jumping the prices up before their discount, dont get sucked into the oldest and best known retail scam. Compare prices..

Someone remove EL's sig privileges already.

They're just massive play-asia ads anyway.

They're also known to drop their prices just before everyone else to get people to flock to their sales. Thing is, it's a very marginal price drop and if gamers waited a few days then they'd be saving a lot more than the few measly dollars at EB.

EB are the devil because not only their prices, but when a new game comes out, they order enough to fill the pre-orders, and about 10 extra copies. My girlfriend used to work there, and she says they're the cheapest bastards around. They don't like selling new release games, because they don't make as much money off them. Everything they do is to sell more preowned titles. That's all they're interested in doing.
