Techmo have released a couple of new videos from Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, offering a look at the promised cooperative multiplayer - a first for the Ninja Gaiden series.

One video previews some Ryu and Ayane action and the other features Ryu and Momiji in a boss battle.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is due exclusively on PlayStation 3 in September 2009.

Ninja gaiden coop is a brilliant idea. It's awesome hearing ryu cut sick in the background then seeing him land on screen after a massive air combo.

Not sure how different the story mode is going to be from ninja gaiden 2. I'm pretty sure that boss level is the same as Ninja Gaiden 2 on the xbox 360, but i think that weapon that Ryu had is new.

Shame it's a ps3 exclusive..
