HI ALL,
How to I play COD WAW online with some aussie mates?
Sick of playing with high ping other countries and getting kicked off.

What sort of set up do you guys do when playing online?

I prefer using the server browser built into xfire over any in game browser, not sure about WAW but Internode COD4:Modern Warfare servers are awesome, pings are great and the admins are pretty active & ban hacks. Server IP's. You can join manually or add them all to your favourites list.

its probably xbox version where you don't get a choice.

Are you referring to pc, ps3 or xbox? cause i know with the ps3 you don't actually get a choice with what server you join cause there isn't one. Its just dependent on the other people playing.

All i've done is whenever i join a game with good ping i add them to my friends list. Also they'll have AUS in their clan name.

Why the f*** they don't believe console users deserve the choice of servers/ping is beyond me.

Very useful comment. NOT !! They should make you an admin.

If you don't have anything useful to say maybe you shouldn't say anything.

Well when new members/gamers come to forums trying to learn how to do things, seeking advice, and they get shot down, it upsets me.
It explains why some people only make 2 posts and are never hear of again and others make thousands.

AgentFBA - If you actually read these forums, you'd know there was an identical thread about a week earlier asking the same question. I expect new users to search before making a new thread (even saves someone the trouble of making an account), so clearly I'm worse than Hitler.

Ok maybe I was harsh, I apologise. It seemed a harsh thing to say to a new member and I was surprised nothing had been said about it. I, running another forum, understand the frustration about having to explain over and over the same info.
But I would think that it would have been easier for you to link that person to that post rather than flame them. just an observation and I do apologise for my smart alec response to your post.

I find this site works bloody well for most Steam games. That said with COD I usually just grab the IP of the server that looks good and join manually from the console in game.

I have no idea how console users get by though as they seem to have to fend for themselves until they can buddy up with other users online. Come to think of it - L4D seems to have gone that way :/
