Anyone tried the new Mother Surge? I don't like it. They tried to infuse some fruity flavours in it and it don't work.

at your age infi, I wouldn't recommend such beverages. You are already predisposed to heart complications as a result of your weight, do you really think its a good idea to bang on deaths door by consuming drugs which likely exacerbate your condition? Combined with your deep emotional disturbance I would say you are playing a very risky game!

Are you fat, infi? I'm 6 ft and weigh 72kg. I'm a rake, more or less.

Also, I love caffeinated drinks. It's going to be my downfall for sure, with diabetes and heart problems already in the family.

my dad's grandfather lived till 86 and and my grandma is 88 n.o. on the otherside both grandparents are 90+ and still drive. IM GONNA LIVE FOEREVER.

My mate isn't obese but he's got a bit of a gut, he lives on red bull & coffee stuff. Some people just get addicted to the s*** I suppose.

Gut flab in males is where a good portion of risk of diabetes resides. Doesn't matter much about your arms/legs.

Also, I used to drink those caffeine drinks, then when I would go cold turkey on caffeine I would get a massive headache and my shoulders would go rock solid for a day.

The best part is going without caffeine for 2 weeks or so and then hit your system with an energy drink, BAM! bang for your buck then. AHAH

I bought one of these this morning. Its like a Fizzy Orange juice. I'd buy it again I guess. :]

the receptionist is always drinking 500ml cans of those s*** drinks first thing in the morning

i have the ocassional beer, but mostly drink wine so i can avoid alzheimers (and being sober)

I tried it a while ago my mate that works at Coke had some, I don't like it... I prefer the normal one

Unfortunately I am unable to comment on this exciting new beverage.
Two weeks ago I decided to stop drinking Mother altogether after being on at least one, sometimes two or three, cans a day for the last couple of months.
My energy levels have gone way up since stopping.

I wonder if becoming an IV speed user a fortnight ago has anything to do with this?

Saw in Coles today they have Home Brand Red Bull now.

Went with the old man to Coles today and Used his 'Seniors Card' = 10% off groceries today and tomorrow. They are considering making it permanent.

If i wanted that, i'd just buy Fanta.

Original mother was nice when it first came out, real nice taste... now it tastes like ass and leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. Wore off quickly...

yeah, i quite liked the original mother. it mixed really well with zen green tea liqueur.

i find i get more energy from coffee anyways and energy drinks just sugar me out....

i find i get more energy when i exercise, eat and sleep properly.

i don't drink energy drinks for energy as such. i drink them to annoy paveway.

I had my first today actually. I am a fan. Orange sherbert....

Seeing you bums have been crapping on about these I grabbed one today to get change for the lame moto parking machine.

To me it tastes like liquid chewable vitamin C tablets.

It's not completely horrible but I prefer the 2nd revision original flavour.
That said I very rarely drink energy drinks.

i tried the coles home brand type red bull - its pretty good, purple cans and the yellow ones. Both good. The energy in one of these is more than anything else that had on the shelf at half the price. Wonder what the hell the difference is besides marketing...

Theres actually a limit to the amount of Caffeine they can use here in Australia. I think its 80Mg to 250Ml
Mother in the large can means they can add more caffeine.

I wish you would cite your references for some of these assertions you make. I heard they put the opening to the can in the bottom so they can get round legal limits of caffeine. Only problem is that you have to turn the can upside down to drink from it :(
