dell xps. Don't expect these things to go as well as desktops though. Get a desktop unless you plan on moving around a lot daily.

You're silly Hermi - just because laptops are not as good value as desktops doesn't mean they have no value for gaming - and gaming laptops can definetly be compared for value.
XPS probably, I would say M1530 but you can't buy them anymore, they have a new "Studio" range. No idea how good thy are tho. |

I'm sorry but "value" + "Gaming laptop" do not belong in the same hemisphere let alone the same sentence...Well...a $5000 desktop replacement "laptop" (if they want to call it that..) that gets say 11fps more in a game than a $2000 XPS laptop represents less value for a return in fps. There is value return for everything, don't be retarded. |

I wasn't expecting them to be as good as a desktop, but I can claim it against Salary Sacrifice, which is why I was looking. I can save about 40%. So by the looks of it, if I look at orund the $2k mark, I should get something that runs most games, OK. |

I thought Kevin 07 put a stop to that wonderful salary sacrifice scheme.... unless the laptop you sacrifice is your primary work machine.

Work provides a laptop already, but it's not that good. So it would be my primary PC. So it works for me. |
