dell xps. Don't expect these things to go as well as desktops though. Get a desktop unless you plan on moving around a lot daily.

I'm sorry but "value" + "Gaming laptop" do not belong in the same hemisphere let alone the same sentence...

You're silly Hermi - just because laptops are not as good value as desktops doesn't mean they have no value for gaming - and gaming laptops can definetly be compared for value.

XPS probably, I would say M1530 but you can't buy them anymore, they have a new "Studio" range. No idea how good thy are tho.

Well...a $5000 desktop replacement "laptop" (if they want to call it that..) that gets say 11fps more in a game than a $2000 XPS laptop represents less value for a return in fps. There is value return for everything, don't be retarded.

I wasn't expecting them to be as good as a desktop, but I can claim it against Salary Sacrifice, which is why I was looking. I can save about 40%. So by the looks of it, if I look at orund the $2k mark, I should get something that runs most games, OK.

I thought Kevin 07 put a stop to that wonderful salary sacrifice scheme.... unless the laptop you sacrifice is your primary work machine.

Work provides a laptop already, but it's not that good. So it would be my primary PC. So it works for me.

He did, now you need to get your manager to sign off saying that your laptop is for work purposes.
