Pinky points out in the forums that Team Fortress 2 is 50% off in the Steam Store until Friday (probably US Friday, so you might get a bit of extra time). This is definitely a game that you should own, if only to support one of the few remaining PC developers/publishers that are pushing out high quality FPS titles with incredible support for multiplayer. Go buy it! A new update for TF2 also landed today, hot on the heels of yesterday's Scout update: Gameplay changes: |

I still don't like TF2 but I wholeheartedly support everyone that does; as much as I've whined about Valve in the past this is definitely one of the best games to come out in recent times and they should get all credit for continuing to make kick-ass titles and doing it in a way that doesn't piss me off (ie, releasing standalone dedicated servers!@#). The recent changes to Steam show they're listening (slowly, but still) to users about important things like being able to select Content Servers. Some improvements to the server updater software and I might run out of things to complain about (unlikely while CS still exists, but who knows). |

I just went to buy this and found there's no way to schedule a download.. seriously? Who the f*** builds a digital download content network without the ability to schedule when the transfers will occur.
