Another 2009 early starter, and the first sequel in what will likely become a staple EA intellectual property. Skate 2 takes the formula of the first game and attempts to expand upon it.

However, it's not all peachy and things might actually end up looking dire for a series that set out to be the anti Tony Hawk in that it's very easy to see, from Skate 2, Black Box's surprise hit from last year might end up doing absolutely everything wrong with its subsequent follow-ups.

I take it you played the Xbox version... the PS3 version has a shocking framerate, worthy of mention in a review....

They did address the problems of the first game in a small manner.. Dlc on the xbox360 includes a go anywhere do anything all areas unlocked profile download for 400 points or something... Seems to me they just dropped the ball on the career side of things, knew it sucked, added the feature of moving stuff around and are now hoping free play is enough to keep the people amused

Love the control system, will prob get the full vers just cos a lame plot and kinda gay career mode doesnt really worry me
