Wait. People care about iLife? I never understood the point of this package, despite having 2 macs. Okay, maybe iPhoto. But that's it. It feels like you're just paying $100 to subsidise the other tools.

Yeah, I think iLife is a state of mind. A few years ago every year I was rushing out to get the new version, but this year I'm not going to, I don't think I've used any of the suite for 6 months (using Lightroom/Bridge for any photo stuff now).

iMovie looks pretty cool compared to current one. The precision editor is a nice improvement.

iPhoto... meh, current version is fine for me. I don't take heaps of face photos.

Yeah thats what they made better. Thats why theyve removed the download to the old iMovie HD which customers were downloading after finding iMovie 08 craphole.
