Saw a couple of kids the other day playing round on these boards, they look crazy. I have never seen them in the shops, does anyone know where to get them. I know ebay has them too.

I've seen them on the coast. Either at Robina Town Centre or Pacific Fair. They were in one of those mid-aisle displays - as I walked past I remember thinking they could result in a lot of pain!

I know Rebel Sports at chermside have them. My mate's brother bought a couple for his daughters for christmas. My mate and I were having a blast with them christmas night after the kids had gone. Not that hard but a little tricky to use at first but once you do they are really quite fun.

They're worth a billion dollars. Give me the cash and I'll get you one.

get them anywhere.

kmart sell them. but must the usual sports shops amart/rebel etc. my boy wanted one of the scooter versions. but convinced him out not to. the novelty factor wears off on s*** like that.

just after christmas that's all you would see on the footpaths near the beaches round here. every second kid riding one of these. you can see the novetly wearing off only seeing the odd two or three a day. its only been a month.

also think they are about 80 bucks or so. pretty limited use i think though. would need ollie horns or something to do any decent tricks on them.

brother of 11 years of age got one for christmas.

within 3 weeks he was able to do full 180 degree turns on the bloody thing. I have no idea how he does it? though I do know that they need a lot of practise.

lol are you sure that's not because there are less kids around the coast and allowed out as holidays end?

Snake boards, "ripstiks", Ben Lexcen's "Winged" skateboard, roller blades, razor scooters and "roller shoes" = lame.

Just buy a proper skateboard and be done with it. At least you will be able to maintain some dignity and not look like a complete kook.

I'm pretty sure an individualistic sport is not about 'looks'.. though the videogames sure give that impression.

just shred with what you got dude.

build a big fat halfpipe in your backyard, break a few bones, and have the time of your life doing it.

you can do it any more than just an old 90s skateboard eh
