Bioware have released a new trailer promoting Dragon Age: Origins, the upcoming role playing game being dubbed a spiritual successor to the studio's hugely acclaimed Baldurs Gate series.

Today's clip features one hot minute of cinematic footage from the game, supposedly showing a character known as a "Grey Warden". Check it out right here on AusGamers.

Dragon Age: Origins is currently slated for an April 2009 launch on Windows PC release to be followed by Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions later in the year.

Probably my most anticipated game of 09.

Bioware have done well in previous games, so I look forward to this one.

Baldures Gate series was one of the best proper RPG's released. Like Fallout 1/2 (pfft not 3 though).
