twinks is the plural form i guess, to "tweak" a character is to max out the specs as much as you can buy hording good items, potions etc.. So it means the same thing.

twinks are low level alt characters you deck out in generally expensive items from the AH in order to pwn people in pvp

Max Payne the game had THE BEST storyline and atmosphere plus all the bullet time s*** was cool with the diff weapons. This movie looks like a poorly copied version of Sin City. The music in the game was excellent, by the sounds of it they did use that at least.

Maybe it meant something else in other games but in WoW the word twink meant a low level character (usually lvl 19; however this expanded to lvl 29 and 39, in TBC) that had the best possible lvl 19 gear possible but also having hundreds of golds worth of enchants that were designed for lvl 60's / 70's.

You see these lvl 19 twinks running around 1shotting non-twinks in WSG or taking on 5+ non-twinks at once.

a "twink" is specifically a lower level character. so a "twink" is a "tweaked" character but a "tweaked" character is not necessarily a "twink"?

1) if i pimp (or tweak LOL) out a level 70, it is not a twink
2) if i pimp out a level 19 or 29, it is a twink
3) thus tweak and twink don't mean the same thing

because at max level, you can't really twink your character, by the unofficial definition of the word. we all know you can never finish wow, theres always an item/s that will allude players - no matter how good your guild is. also no matter what items you can get, its actually designed for your level.

this is the difference when you "twink" say... a level 19 where a) you do 100% get the best items one can get for the game and b) you get enchants that were designed for a max level character..for a level 19 and so you become....twinked.

i dont know anything about wow, tweaks or twinks, but tiny is wrong
