Hi All
We're in Livingstone, Zambia now for the 4th day before we leave for Botswana tomorrow. I think Zanzibar was the last place I posted? can't remember. Anyway since then we went down through Malawi which was nice and cheap, got some great teak and ebony carvings. Both Fiona and I also managed to get sick, which we discovered was from chocolates which we'd left in the eskys, the ice in the eskys had melted and seeped into the sealed chocolate bars and made us sick (the ice isn't made from clean water).

From Malawi we spent several days on the road before making it down here to Livingstone, we went and saw Victoria Falls tuesday (I think) morning then that afternoon we crossed over to Zimbabwe to do the lion encounter where we go to pat and walk with some 18 and 11 month old lion cubs. Wednesday we got up early and went to Livingstone Island which is right on the edge of the falls, from there we swam out a bit and we did what's called "Life on the Edge" where you jump into a pool just on the edge of the falls and sit there as the water rushes around you, after which you get a nice little breakfast back on the island.

Yesterday we didn't really do anything except the sunset booze cruise where you get a meal and unlimited drinks on the river while sun sets, Fiona got quite drunk and loud as usual.

Anyway I'm sure I've forgotten things and got days mixed up but that's what we've been up to.

I have photos but the net is slow here and we've only got time to put it on facebook, I'll make an epic photo thread when I get back from the whole trip.
