Our 2008 Q4 Preview feature only had a handful of games with no official release dates, and today we've seen announcements already for two of them. The first was Prince of Persia from Ubisoft, and now Sony Computer Entertainment Australia have sent through word their forthcoming community/user-generated content/platform title, LittleBigPlanet will be hitting Australian store shelves on October 23rd.

On top of the actual release of the game comes two downloadable content items in the form of a Spaceman costume for Sackboy and a "Week One" Sackboy t-shirt - both items are only available for a short amount of time.

Man can't wait for this game!!! Probably main reason I'm buying a ps3

Yeah, this is the only upcoming PS3 game I"m looking forward to. It'll be nice to use my PS3 for something other than streaming media.

I'm waiting for reviews; it seems like a neat idea but it could also fail badly I reckon
