Midway have officially announced the assortment of characters that will be playable characters in the upcoming Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe - a fighting game that will pit Midway's popular fighters against the heroes and villains of various DC Comics.

Representing MK, we'll have: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya, Jax, Shang Tsung, Liu Kang, Raiden, Kitana, Kano, Baraka and Shao Kahn.

In the DC Corner, we've got: Batman, Superman, Catwoman, Green Lantern, Shazam, The Flash, Deathstroke, Wonder Woman, The Joker, Lex Luthor and Darkseid.

Aww no reptile? Well he's not my favourite but I'll still miss him from the game, get rid of one of Kano and Jax and put in Reptile plz. Other than that it looks pretty damn sweet, as do the renders.

Just had a look at the preview vid, looks awesome, but wtf at Superman freezing people? First thing I do is go Sub-Zero and beat the s*** out of that guy.

Apart from the mask and lack of cape... yeah sure the flash looks exactly the same.

Shazam however looks a little like superman, and i am sure i am the first person ever in the history of comics to notice this similarity.
