After near on 8 years of development, AGD Interactive have launched Quest for Glory II: Trial By Fire - a remake of the classic Sierra adventure game with completely redone, hand-drawn graphics. Unfortunately we're unable to mirror it locally due to their license agreements with Vivendi (you wouldn't want more people getting a hold of the game you're distributing for free would you) but you can now download the game over on the AGD Interactive official site. |

I can't really notice much in the way of improvements. Couldn't they have done something about the res? Having to play it in 320x200 makes the window about the size of a PSP screen on my monitor.

This remake is fantastic. The combat, the new scenes, even an optional text parser for communication. The idea behind it was to make it in the same style as QFG1VGA and QFG3VGA which follows it. Wouldn't seem right to have this one being 3D and then go back to 2D for QFG3 again! Le Cock, are you playing the same game as me??? LOL Cause there are improvements up the wazoo in the remake I'm playing. Maybe you got the old EGA version. I highly recommend this. Gonna buy their original Al Emmo as a show of support and get the free QFG2VGA cinema size poster. WOOT! |

Le Cock, you can play at full screen.Just run the winsetup.exe in the directory game folder and change the res to 640x400 mode or try one of the lower end filters. |

it was terrible :( its like when you watch a moofie as a kid and you really really love it, then when you are older you go and watch the moofie again, and its really really bad |

Some memories of games need to stay memories. I've learned that after playing a couple of C64 games that I used to play as a kid.
