Dont know if anyone here met tegs or boomser.. i'm pretty sure they must have gone to atleast 1 QGL.

Back in the day i played with Tegs in some 1.6 teams.. so when i saw this video i was pretty blown away.

I say good on them.. but this sorta thing is not for me.. more to life etc.

lolz integrator was in [SAS] many moons ago.

but didnt those bednarski boys get caught cheating red handed many times? and tegs' teammates were pleading with everyone to help him through his problems of being ultra competitive and addicted to cheating? heh

oh well they obviously aint using hax now so good on them i guess. sux2b playing cs for this long though..

I kicked them out of this clan... bit mean now that I look back. Then a few months later dogged the whole team myself! It's dog eat dog in the pros!!

Funny that 4 people in this photo played overseas. Particularly dave he must have done what 6 trips by now?

Yeah I remember boomser got caught cheating for some online comp which had prize money (or a mouse pad prize which was like the ultimate cs pro goal). But meh, cheating was part of cs wouldn't have been the same without it :P

It's funny how much of the actual gameplay they show. And its just crappy 3rd person cam stuff. Was boring as bat s***. Unfortunate truth of progaming. But this wouldn't even be entertaining to progamers!

funny thing is i was better then most of the guys playing over seas in aus teams... f***ing... uni.

edit: i remember lanning with boomser and tegs vs SAS and couldn't figure out why they were sucking and i was the only comp against strex the fag. few weeks later found out they were hackers... few things clicked :)

Raider, the individual skill of the player wasn't enough to get them over seas it was the team synergy as well. Plus I think a couple of them were doing some form of Uni at the time also. If not, they are teh lazy bums!

Also, are performance enhancing drugs banned in major Pro-gaming comps?

Wow is an official Tournament game? I guess with the amount of people that play it,they don't really need to make it "new audience" Like orc's running around with Jerseys :)

Also I was about to rant here that having motorsport / sport as an "egame" was pointless. This Article attempts to make sense of it.

Also Fatal1ty as a CSS commentator. Shows how much of a nerd I am to think thats "wrong" :) Hopefully Quake Live will take off as I reckon Quake 1v1 has potential to be entertaining to watch for nerds & non-nerds

Fatality shoutcasting the CSS was a bit of a suprise to me but he did have a short career in 1.6 with some pro usa team.

I really hope quake live takes off too :>

God damn, looking at that video. That's cs: source? f*** it looks dated, hard to believe people are still playing it with so much interest.
