Just came back from checking out Spore, one of the several pretty awesome offerings from EA this year that are being shown behind closed doors at the show. Only a few months from release, this is probably the start of the seriously organised Spore hype-a-thon that is no doubt about to come smashing down upon us.

It is certainly shaping up to look pretty cool - you can check out some of my thoughts if you're keen to soak up a bit more about this somewhat anticipated title. (Some photos of the Spore booth and some other goodies are in the comments.)

A DS station. They also had it running on an iPhone but I seem to have not taken a photo of it. Will get one tomorrow if anyone really wants to see it.

Man I just had a million dollar idea for these guys...

After you model your creature, you send off your little guy to some place, and they make an actual model of it and send it to you. Like, you get a toy of your model, and you can pick what size it is and everything. f*** THATS AN AWESOME IDEA

Its been done before Bill - no patent loots for you! Last time I heard it was a reward for a WoW competition or something.

I saw a bit of this on the iPhone, its just the cell stage and I think a bit of the creature stage. Looks really lush; its amazing what you can do with it. I am not sure if it can integrate with the "real" game yet though (it might've been announced or detailed elsewhere). It'd be neat if you could play a bit of those stages on your iphone then take it back and sync it up with your PC and continue from there.

Isn't the iPhone version more or less the same sort of game as Sony's Fl0w ?

And billy - There's a group who make WoW statues exactly like what you're describing. Nice idea though - WHo said it couldn't be done for Spore as well?
