Midway have released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, showing off some world colliding gameplay action from the upcoming allstar fighting game.

When a cataclysmic force merges conquerors from two universes, conflict is inevitable. Kombat forces friends to fight, worlds to collide, and unlikely alliances to be forged. In order to save all they know, the heroes and villains of Mortal Kombat must wage war against the combined might of the DC Universe (DCU).

Ever wondered who would win in a fight: Sonia vs Catwoman? Superman vs Sub Zero, Scorpian vs Batman? Yeah, neither had we, but soon you'll be able to find out. I'd rather have a good Mortal Kombat game than this giant blender f*** of completely unrelated franchises.

In their defence, it's the equivalent of the successful Marvel vs Capcom. TBH though, I'd prefer they continue on with Shaolin Monks which imo was the only decent MK game released in the last 10 years.

I don't get the objection TBH. The story is of course piss-weak and just an excuse to get to beat the s*** out of Superman with Raiden or whoever makes it.

Actually, nearly any of the MK peeps would be able to hurt Superman. Well, the ones with supernatural powers that is. Kryptonite ain't the big alien bastards only weakness afterall...

Yeah, they are having fatalities, the "We're not having fatalities" thing was someone taking something entirely out of context. They've come out and said recently, they're definitely having fatalities.
