Hey guys, wondering if anyone here has had any experience with making windows installs with all your favourite programs. How easy was it, how long did it take and which programs do you recommend?

If you're not changing hardware often I would get everything running sweet and take an image - must faster restores.

but if you must -

Nlite is an awesome program for making Windows installer discs. You can slipstream service packs and updates and integrate software. You can also make the install unattended, so you can preconfigure the product key, time settings, regional information etc. You can also remove unwanted products from the installation (like system restore). The software is free and very easy to use. Making your own software addons can be challenging though.
