Saw it in the cinema last night, so time for a quick review:

It was good (very good actually), but not quite as good as Ratatouille. Graphically, and artistically, it was a masterpiece, but story-wise, it fell a little flat. They did a great job to give emotion and drive to characters that couldn't speak English, but it just wasn't enough. If you're a fan of Pixar/Dreamworks animation pictures, this is still a must-see. Everyone else, it's pretty much worth the price of admission (or quota) just for the short at the start. 4.5 / 5!

Same thing happened with Ratatouille, we got it months later. :(

It's bulls***, I really want to see this movie, but I don't want to watch some s***ty DVD rip.

Hmmm I thought Ratatouille was so bad I didn't even watch the whole thing... maybe I should give it another go.

Just saw an advanced screening of this and f*** it was good. Animation was lovely and the story was good. The best thing about it was there was hardly any talking since the majority of it had robots on screen. The one thing I really can't stand with most kids stuff is the really loud screaming and s*** that goes on. I guess it's to keep the kids interested although this did have a bit of that it wasn't so over the top like most of them.

Great movie and worth a watch.

We are getting it in September because that is when the next major school holidays are. It is currently the extended summer break in the US hence the heap of "Summer" movies being released for general child/teenage consumption.

Stupid I know but such is the way of marketing/promo drones. Be glad we don't get delays until our own summer.

You can punish their stupidity by not seeing the movie in a cinema.

Saw this thisevening, easily the funniest movie I've seen this year. Highly recommended.

Edit: Actually no, I think I'm going to revise that so as to say it's the funniest Pixar movie :)
