Paying retail is lame.

What good online DVD stores are there besides Ezydvd? JB Hifi can be good sometimes, but other times their prices are a f***ed c***.

Suggestions?

I normally buy them from work because I get a staff discount. Some I bought a couple of days ago were The Wire Season 1, Ricky Gervais Fame and that Stephen King movie Langoliers. Will leech movies and if they're good I'll buy them.

What's the Wire Season 1 costing atm? I went to pick it up at JB the other day but they didn't have ANY of the seasons in at all.

It was $26.95 at Video Sleazy. Ezy DVD has it listed at $29.95 so anything in between those prices is good I guess.

after loving s1 I bought The Wire S2 and S3 from ebay for $20 each.

when Wire in the Blood S2 & S3 turned up I spewed blood and swore that I will never ebay from my phone again!!!

if you want the wire, maybe wait till august when s5 is released, and get the 1-5 bundle that will probably be available.

Season 5 of the wire is epic btw.

I dont have to buy DVD's anymore. Its so easy nower days to burn DVD's and Blank DVD's are so cheep that ppl literally throw them at me.

Interested in The Wire. Whats it like compared with The Shield? (which I think is awesome fyi)

I thought the shield was the best crime show on tv if not the best show overall.

the wire is different but just as good. it is not as action packed as the shield, with more politics and the social side of policing/drugs, but if compared side by side you may even like it better.

I think I will have to see what I think after the next season of the sield finishes.
