I'm doing my teaching prac there atm and I was pretty sure that's what I heard on assembly but I hadn't really been paying attention. Might be supervising the event for the night but I'm not entirely sure coz I have uni til 7 after school.

That act certainly wasn't made for TV... or should I say, Channel 7 are totally f***ing inept and their coverage of that was f***ing s***house. I agree with Red that it was so detailed, and the camera did not do it justice at all.

Hopefully that won't cripple your chances.

totally agree with BH; right at the start they opted to cover the people in the crowd instead of the initial stuff you were doing even when it was obvious that detail was going to be an important part of it. usual lousy production from commercial tv

As being a huge of Popping & Locking, you guys were great. Its great to see Popping & Locking get more exposure in the Australia, I remember there were only one or two popping & locking performances in SYTYCD but was not shown as much and alot of Aussie dont know about the styles. Your Popping performance was great, but the little locking you guys did could do with a little more funk and expression to it, other than that Well done.

smoovdogg, thanks for the feedback, and i couldn't agree more! we wanted a bit of locking in there to change things up, but there's only 2 of us in the crew who do any locking at all (1 of them wasn't even in that show).. so the other 3 kind of winged it. To people who've never seen it, it makes no difference, but obviously to someone who knows about locking it's clearly sub par haha

Here is a good example of Locking & Popping

indeed, that's one of my all time favourite routines from some of the best in the world. I've never seen any locking crew that are as tight or funky as a group as Hillty and Bosh

I think popping is a quick tense of your muscles, and locking is moving into a spot and stopping?
