k i went to log into steam and it asked for my pw so im like k. put it in but it just says cant connect to steam servers. and when i go to the trouble shooting link. it doesen't work. i tried to search my account name and they can't find it. is this an error on their end or have i been hacked or something

contact steam support. i had login problems once, theyr were real quick to fix it for me. couple of days

lol yea my fault ever heard of glider if you have i wouldnt be suprised yesterday morning just as i was going to bed i was gonna bot my guy for money while i slept but just before i did i went to get some skills got disconnected thought nothing of it until it would not let me connect. went to the forum to check it out. 23 pages of glider people got banned at the same time, seems the guy who usually checks for warden updates missed it sneaky little blizz. snuck it in in the 2.4. patch the latest one but oh well my fault really their is always that risk. but glad got banned wow is the f***ing plague done with wow now.

Yay TF2 update

Fixed map exploits in Gold Rush
I'm assuming that's the Blu SG placement inside the spawn... Internode have been banning for that recently. Also I hope they fixed that stupid Blu teleport spot where you can trap people.

I'm still wondering how people build that SG placement on the 2nd point, up above on that silly ledge? Seems like a cool spot but I have NO idea how to get up there.

What? I did that heaps of time. Though I once quickly blew up my sentry when I saw some guy suspiciously walking around it, facing it and standing still, as if he was trying to get a good screenshot .. haven't done it since.

Don't see the point of banning for something like that, especially when there is no objective (ie, briefcase, capture point) inside or anywhere near your roller door.

If an admin is in the server, they give you one warning to blow it up, then they ban you... seen probably 20 people banned so far.

They said "it's an exploit to build an SG in a place where the enemy can't hit it"... I think it can be destroyed, but I think it's pretty restrictive? I dunno the deal... can demo's/soldiers shoot inside the spawn? Can heavys/snipers shoot it through the wire mesh?

Also it's extremely useful for Blu, keeps the offense away from your spawn, stops heavy/medics from dropping down and raping everyone.

Hell yeah it can be. I've had to try to repair it without having it kill me in the cross-fire. And yeah the enemy can usually shoot through the spawn doors. I'm not sure why rockets/grenades sometimes bounce off .. as half the time they go through. If the enemies couldn't shoot through, then I would agree the sentry thing is an exploit.

Anyway, you've also got another section of goldrush where an enemy pyro (well, any class actually but the pyro does this often) can run you through into your spawn room and touch your freaking health locker. I hope they fix that up.

Yeah as good as gold rush is, it didn't get a thorough treatment in the QC department.

That said, most of the time i'm node servers i see heaps of stupid stuff going on and no admins around.

They really gayed up stage 1 of Gold Rush, removing the door/opening near the cap point... now that top building is pretty well locked off (have to either jump up or run back through the tunnel)... changed the gameplay heaps.

Also the Red stage 1 spawns now have doors, bad for heavy/soldier spawn camping, awesome for sticky camping, so win/lose.
