try Titan Quest. about as close to D2 as you can get, and its actually fun. long as hell too

hm titan quest heard of it never played it though, just looking for something like an rpg and an fps. we were gonna do dungeon siege 2 but can't find my discs :( anyway any feedback on good games to lan on would be awesome.

I like ~8 for FPS games, 4 would be an ok number for RTS games.

use to love that old lan-leech program, search *.avi and get the majority of the avi's on the network =)

Nah not that I know of. Hidden: source is where you get 8 guys walking around shooting at something nearly invisible that can kill in one hit.

L2flush noob, get then by the 12 - 13 minute mark before castle age. Castle in ~18 minutes with a foward base and they're f***ED.

I know you said no d2, but a lot of fun is D2 Iron core. You all pull a character out of a hat, and start the game on hardcore. Rules are your not allowed to go back to town except to hand in a quest for the reward, and thus you cannot buy anything in town or heal (unless you are handing in a quest to akara etc, this is deemed part of the quest reward). When you hit level 9 you must hostile. Its a massive royal rumble. Good challenging game. You need to ration pots and think about the equipment you pick up. Ironically you quite often get a unique item, but cant use it for want of an ID scroll! Last man standing wins!

If anyone manages to kill andy they also win (But no 1 person is gonna be able to do that by themselves in a 7 player game). If they did, they would be the only person allowed to go to act 2 and level to like 25 before coming back and obliterating everyone else. <-- would make for a boring game. Generally, last man standing wins.

Game lasts a few hours, some die to monsters, most end up in a giant royal rumble. People who die can go start an fps server (provided theyre not hosting the d2 game or itll quit everyone remaining... [Jabroney...]).

For the FPS I recommend AVP2, its a lot of fun creeping up on walls behind people and smashing them as an alien. Check it out

track mania, pref the older versions.

Trackmania Forever LAN = the win, hooked up my USB arcade joystick for awesome racing action.

Serious Sam 2 is massive LOL, never played it before, after 5 levels of that and like 100,000 monsters we were all f***ed.

Battlefield is always good fun, me and Phooks were pwning the other c***s but the game scoring was rigged.

KKND wouldn't work :(
