Ok So our company runs a windows network and basically I want something to get my incoming faxes, pdf them, and send them to my email address. Oh, and I don't want to pay for a service. Can anyone help? |

Also, I believe you can do this with default on a mac? If so, I do not want to hear you mac fanboys telling me all about your f***ing s*** computers. f*** off. |

GFI have a good product for this, I'd pick that over anything else anyday if I didn't run an awesome PBX like Asterisk.

Casa, I bet to email the Faxes from there you need Outlook Express or Outlook set up and configured with an account.

^ Yes I agree.
You could buy an OKIFax and let it do it for you straight to an email account ;) |

I've integrated desktop faxing and fax to email in a few companies I worked for. GFI is good software, has abundance of options and plugs into exchange really well but its not the cheapest solution around. Where I currently work I configured their network fax/printer/copier to deliver all faxes as pdf emails but is limited to one deliverable address. The cheapest solution is probably going with a modem, pc and winfax pro. I have also used this config and its pretty solid once setup. It also allows for multiple routes.

We use faxmate here at work ... works like a charm. Receives emails, put them in pdf format then if you want allows to auto print.

I see I didn't explain myself properly in the OP. I have a computer with a modem I want to use for fax receiving. Currently, it has winfax on it, which is flawless to receive and print out faxes, but I do not want this. I want software to receive the fax, and email it to me, with the option to print once I get the email. Gaz: Just stick it in the letterbox at number 19 light st with a post-it note with my name on it. or under the windscreen wiper of the sti |

Alternatively you could do with with a Cisco ISR - trying to remember what card you'd need to handle it - FXO? (I'm sure someone else here will know).
Casa, I bet to email the Faxes from there you need Outlook Express or Outlook set up and configured with an account. Or AD/Exchange. |
