With Uni starting this week for many of us, I was wondering who is going to QUT?

I'll be found there all day Thursday and Friday, probably in the Science Newbie room, makes you feel all smart and stuff listening to people struggle with Intro to Chem. :D
Then you feel dumb when people struggle with some advanced aerospace subject :(

QUT dropouts REPRESENT!!

my time table is aids, 3 subjects (sc110,scb111,scb112) spread over 4 days and 2 f***ing 8am starts

ah well, had my first scb112 lecture today with dr kelly and he seems good

If you get 1 full day off (doing 4 subjects) then your timetable is good. I have 2 8am-5pm days another 8am start and a 10am start with Mondays off. Almost like work, *shudder*.

I'm also aiming to blast out my last year with the best marks I can get. Woooo.
O my poor gaming will suffer :(

werd, funny part was i hired someone from my course year after they finished as our go-getter and coffee bitch, they werent too happy when they found out i dropped out in the 6th week lol.

My hecs will be paid off at the the end of this financial year. Hot tip here.. check that your employer is paying off your HECs at the proper f***ing rate.

QUT KG and GP Mon, KG wed and thurs, and GP on friday

As I sit here falling asleep in my inorganic chem textbook, I curse the f*****s at QUT that made every day except Thursday an 8AM lecture first up. Ive been looking forward to tonight all week so I can finally catch up on some sleep. Going from holidays to this was a bit of a shock...

I'm liking my 30 people max chem subject lectures, makes me want to abandon the 100-250 person biology subjects Im still doing.

At GP tues, wed, thurs and fri at about 5 hours a day. Fun times ahead.......

2 of my subjects I only have to go to once a week so my timetable's really cruisy this semester 9-3 mon, 10-11 wed (prac subject so probably not much point going after the first week or two) 8-12 thurs and then 9-11 friday so I have nice short days :)

Pretty good if you give yourself an hour to park before hand. It can be a bit random. I've parked there a few times. Sometimes you can get a park right away, other times you have to wait for the derro who wants a park near the front when there are plenty at the back, stupid 1 lane parking lots..

QUT parking scam 101:-
Drive over to southbank and take the street that goes under the riverside expressway all the way to the end where there are no parking restrictions (this was the case back in '03). Park. Walk across goodwill bridge ~10mins. Then your at the most ugly building in the campus - civil engineering block.

You may need to check this out again cause the council may have put up signs. If this is the case take a shifter with ya and take em down :P.
